A MAN has been charged after allegedly being found in possession of drugs at Wellington Correctional Centre.

About 10am on Saturday, November 30, the 48-year-old man visited the correctional centre when he was stopped by a Correctives Services NSW Dog Handler after a positive indication.
It is alleged the man was in possession of more than 13 grams of methylamphetamine and 41 Buprenophine strips.
Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District attended and arrested the man who was taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The man was charged with supply prohibited drug - small quantity, supply prohibited drug - more than indictable quantity, bring prohibited drug into place of detention, and possess prohibited drug (x2).
He was bail refused and appeared before Dubbo Local Court on Sunday, December 1 where he was granted conditional bail to appear before Wellington Local Court in January.
