After making the move back to Cronulla from Newcastle this off-season, the Coonamble junior told Sharks TV that he is eager to get to work.
"It's unreal to be back, we have only just got out full squad back," Ramien said.
"It's pretty much a return home for me and I'm keen to rip in."
After a difficult 2019, one which resulted in him leaving the Knights midway through the season, Ramien has clear and simple goals for next season.
"I want to have a good year for the boys and come back to play consistent footy, last year a few things didn't go my way," he said.
Ramien is also keen on the prospect of lining up alongside New Zealand international halfback Shaun Johnson.
"I'm definitely looking forward to playing with Shaun, the things he can do on the field are special and it will be good to be next to him not against him," he said, adding the competition for spots will ensure the Sharks are firing next season.
"There's a lot of inter-squad competition, which is good and it should keep the boys hungry".
