The social satire drama tells the story of Dr Mathew Changadathu, who is a veterinary doctor, who takes a stand against hypocrisy and reinforces the importance of having genuine empathy over sympathy in our society.
Mr Sunny said the film was a labour of love that he felt sent an important message.
"To have genuine empathy to fellow humans is a culture," he said.
"Unfortunately, the so-called sophisticated contemporary society has double standards.
"This story is a satirical attempt to divulge the inhumane attitudes and expose bizarreness exhibited by camouflaged civilised communities."
The award-winning director said providing a free showing of his film felt like the right thing to do.
"This will be the best way to spread the message of the film to a wide audience," he said.
