The Macquarie Ladies celebrated a great year of fellowship and bowls with a Christmas Party held at the Macquarie Club On Monday December 2. It was a great gathering of happy Bowlers including several retired lady bowlers who over many years of bowling still continue to enjoy the involvement and camaraderie with their Macquarie friends. A lovely three course meal was organised by the members and served with the assistance of our men friends who are always willing when called upon. So a big thank you to everyone who helped to make it such an enjoyable day for all.
Chris Condon the President of the Macquarie Club Limited, made the presentation to all the winners of the Club Competitions that were held throughout the year. Chris informed everyone of how the Club has come along in leaps and bounds and advised of all the improvements and additions that have been going on over the past year, including additional car parks, the newly introduced TAB and the outdoor covered area was just a few of many things that has encouraged a larger membership and visitors to the Club.
