The Wiradjuri Nation Dance will be one of hundreds scheduled for 1pm on Sunday, December 1. It will be held at Riley's Dam on the Mogriguy Forrest Road in Goonoo Forrest.
The event will start at 11am, when the painting up will start. At 12pm there will be a welcome to country and welcome dance, followed by dancing from everyone led by the Talbragar Dancers.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Just before 1pm the dancing will start for the 1pm energy. There will be chanting and stomping which is expected to last for at least 15 minutes.
Participants are encouraged to bring their clapsticks, clapping boomerangs and didjeridoos.
