A century to the teenage batsmen Fuller was not enough as Colts were victorious at Lady Cutler 4.
Earlier, Tom Peacock hit 65 for RSL finding partners in both Wes Giddings (55) and Graham Morton (39). Macquarie spinner Luke Patis was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/38 assisted by Jake Cuthill, who chipped in with two wickets as Colts set Macquarie 210 to win.
Macquarie's run chase started poorly losing openers Brenton Morgan (7) and Patis (5), this brought wicketkeeper Fuller to walk to the crease with his side requiring 170 for victory.
Fuller found help in Dave Elder and the pair added 116 for the fourth wicket.
Fuller was finally dismissed by opening bowler Ryan Davies after what was a outstanding and mature knock.
Davies went on to finish with 3/37 and he was supported by Sam Campbell 2/27 and Wes Giddings 2/34.
Macquarie then required just 10 runs with one wickets in hand, with Mark Scullard the last man out as his side collapsed to be all out for 209 falling two runs short of victory.
