Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank was a world-famous German-born diarist and World War II Holocaust victim.
READ ALSO:
The Holocaust was the World War II genocide of European Jews.
Her work, The Diary of Anne Frank, tells the story how Anne's family escaped the Nazi persecution of Jews and moved to Amsterdam before going into hiding for two years.
The exhibition connects the personal story of the Frank family with the important historical events of that time: the rise of the national socialists, the isolation and discrimination of the Jewish population, eventually escalating in the Holocaust.
The exhibition also makes important connections to contemporary life and encourages audiences to explore their own personal response to discrimination and persecution. Refreshments will be served on arrival.
