Owen, a 2012 X Factor Runner Up and Golden Guitar and CMC Award Nominee and Jensen a 2004 Australian Idol contestant will come together for the first time for a spectacular new two-hour show.
The performance will feature songs from some of the biggest country music superstars of our time, as well as performing hit songs from their own successful, multi-award-winning careers.
The first half of the show will feature songs by artists including Dolly Parton, John Denver, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt and Willie Nelson.
During this segment of the show, Jensen and Owen say they will also honour our very own Australian country music great, Slim Dusty.
The duo says the later segment of the show will shine a spotlight on some of the most loved modern country superstars of today, such as Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Garth Brooks and Keith Urban.
The show will feature a tasteful mix of ballads and up-tempo numbers, solos, medleys and moving duets, all arranged especially for the show which the duo have called 'The Superstars of Country: Then and Now'.
The duo will be backed by some of Australia's finest musicians on stage.
Jensen said the reasoning for doing the show was because they wanted to: "celebrate the greats of country music who've paved the way for us and many others and honour the most brilliant songwriters and storytellers of all time, while also putting our own spin on classic songs."
"We also wanted to shine a light on some of the brightest stars of contemporary country," she said.
"We play everything from Dolly to Denver and Underwood to Urban.
"The beautiful thing about this show is that it allows us to take people on a journey through time.
"The show will allow people to relive the classics, bask in the present, and make new memories along the way."
