The country singer, songwriter and guitarist released his debut Album 'Everything I Feel' in July 2019, which gained a fantastic response reaching number one in the ARIA Australian Country Charts, number two ARIA International Charts, number 8 ARIA Aus All Genres Chart, and number 31 on the ARIA All International Genres Chart.
"'Everything I Feel' is about everything I've been through in the last year with my emotions and experience," O'Connor said.
"I made an album I would want to listen to."
The talented up and coming Country artist said the likes of Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton and Marcus King influence his style.
O'Connor has been bringing his heartfelt country lyrics and big soulful voice with a bluesy touch to the stage for some time now, supporting more established artists and showcasing, both, soft meaningful acoustic ballads and rocking electric guitar solos.
Everything I Feel is about everything I've been through in the last year with my emotions and experience...
- Blake O'Connor
The album 'Everything I Feel' was produced by O'Connor's great mate and mentor, Adam Eckersley.
"Adam was the perfect producer because he gets me," O'Connor said. "We both have a very similar taste in music.
"Then to have Adam and his awesomely talented band - Mitch Cairns, Daniel Biederman, Ben Elliott - play on the tracks too, as well as Brooke McClymont, Tiana Dennis, Michel Rose, Luke Miller and Evan Mannell, and watching the songs come alive was amazing.
"Also, we had Grammy Award winner Nick DiDia mix the album which was something super special.
"Some of the artists Nick has worked with have been some of my favourite, including Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Powderfinger.
"To have his input and ear on this album was something I couldn't be more thrilled about."
O'Connor hopes to see a decent crowd turn up to his Dubbo performance, stating; "the bigger the crowd, the better." "I love performing for big crowds," he said.
McClymont described O'Connor as "being wise beyond his years and humble." "He's such a nice, humble, young man," McClymont told AAP. "He's well beyond his years. He can write songs, he can sing, he can play harmonica, guitar. He's the whole package. I'm predicting a Golden Guitar for him next year."
