G Ward clinical support officer and a key organiser of the two events, Jodie See, expects nurses from near and far to attend the reunion and share "old and new stories".
The celebration is timely for staff of the ICU and Emergency Department, set to be relocated into the new and under-construction Macquarie Building next year.

Ms See said the four wards had been in their current location since the "last redevelopment 20 years ago".
"We need to celebrate the staff who have put in the hard work in those years," she said.
"Essentially it's a catch-up for everyone who has worked in these wards."
