By 6pm, the Bureau of Meteorology had recorded 3.8mm at the Dubbo airport gauge.

Weather forecasters are saying rain is almost a certainty for Dubbo on Sunday, but the city is yet to register a drop in the official gauge.
In the meantime the city is copping winds from the north that are blowing dust across the slopes and plains.
The Bureau of Meteorology forecast issued at 5am on Sunday said there was a 95 per cent chance of rain for Dubbo, with possible thunderstorms.
It also recorded winds gusts of 72km/h at 6.04am and of 41km/h at 11am.
Weatherzone is predicting heavy showers for Dubbo at 3pm and 6pm, and intermittent rain at 9pm on Sunday.
That's offering some hope the district will receive desperately-needed rain.
The Riverina has received overnight rain, with Wagga recording about 25mm, more than half of its long-term average rainfall for November.
By midday Dubbo was yet to reach its forecast maximum temperature of 26 degrees.
At 12.14pm the bureau issued a severe thunderstorm warning for damaging winds for the Upper Western and Lower Western forecast districts.
