Widespread rain is predicted across much of the region from Saturday, with the heaviest falls due on Sunday.
Areas in the south, including Young and Cootamundra, are predicted to receive the most rain with 45 millimetres to fall from Saturday until Monday.
Decent rain is also expected in Orange with 35mm expected, while Cowra and Forbes could receive up to 30mm.
Around 25mm is predicted in Mudgee, Nyngan and Parkes, while 20mm of rain is expected in Lithgow and Oberon.
The lightest rainfall predictions are for Bathurst and Wellington with just 15mm, while 10mm is expected in Dubbo.
