Dubbo residents are now able to recycle up to 100,000 drink cans, bottles and cartons per day through the new centre.
The facility is the sixth bulk container deposit centre operated by Vinnies across the state and part of the NSW Government's Return and Earn scheme.
Leader of the St Vincent de Paul Container Deposit Scheme initiative Peter Quarmby said residents are invited to the centre to try it out for themselves.
"It's incredibly easy - you can have hundreds of containers processed within minutes and receive your 10-cent refund per container in your account before you leave the site," Mr Quarmby said.
