"We're all very excited here at the club; it's going to be Dubbo's biggest party of the year," Gordon said.
"The tickets are selling so well, we've already sold out a few of our marquees, so if people are wanting to get in on it, they'll have to be quick."

The event boasts a particularly talent stacked field of nominations, with a who's who of local and regional faces putting horses forward for consideration in the seven race event.
"The nomination numbers are very good, not as big as some get to, but very strong," Gordon said.
Local trainers like Kody Nestor have nominated the best from their stable, with Five Star Gal, Onya Boss and Miss Academy joining the in-form Bellator on the prospective slate.
It's good to see so many local and regional trainers and people coming to participate, the club's very grateful to have that support and to have people coming from all across the region to be involved.

Bellator, a recent transit to Nestor's stable, has came second and first in his two starts since the transfer to Nestor's tutelage.
Other Dubbo based trainers like Clint Lundholm, Connie Greig and Garry Lunn will also likely be participating.
"It's good to see so many local and regional trainers and people coming to participate, the club's very grateful to have that support and to have people coming from all across the region to be involved."
Gordon says that the strength of Dubbo's fields, with their wider pool of talent and cross-region nominations, has led to a change in philosophy about how they view the track.
"We've taken to calling Dubbo the track where you can win from anywhere; whether it's the outside of the track, or along the inside, or your from Nyngan, or Cobar or some other place, you can win from all over."
"That's how we're looking at ourselves and the club going forward."
While the full to the brim field of racing will be the main attraction on the day, the event will also play host to the Turf Club's latest Fashions on the Field heat, which will serve as a lead-in to the finals set to be held on the club's Melbourne Cup race day event.
"That'll all be thanks to Gift of the Closet and it'll be leading into the final of our Fashions on the Field series which we're having at the Melbourne Cup race day, of course."
For now, though, the club's focus is entirely on this weekend's Derby day.
"It's going to be a great day, a huge chance for people to celebrate and enjoy themselves at a great day of racing."
