Roughly 3000 votes have come in during the past three weeks and they've been tallied to create this team of the year.
Wellington fans certainly got behind their side with a whopping eight of the 13 players hailing from the Cowboys' premiership winning outfit.
There's a couple of surprises in there as well and a number of differences to the team our experts put together.
Here is the 2019 Group 11 People's Choice Team of the Year.
THE FULLBACK: Will Lousick (Wellington Cowboys)
Lousick collected half of the votes submitted for the fullback section. He finished with 50.16% of the votes as the fans rewarded what was a stunning 2019 season for the Cowboys.
Lousick cemented his status as the competition's premier fullback as Wellington claimed the title.
THE WINGERS: CJ Ralph (Wellington Cowboys) and Aidan Ryan (Wellington Cowboys)
They starred for the Cowboys in 2019, standout out in both attack and defence, and Ralph and Ryan have been recognised for that. This was the most popular position among the fans and roughly 400 votes were put forward for the wingers.
Ralph collected the most despite missing the second half of the season through injury, hauling in 33.25% of all submitted, while premiership-winning captain Ryan was the next best with 24.08%.
THE CENTRES: Justin Carney (Nyngan Tigers) and Josh Griffiths (Wellington Cowboys)
Carney was among the very best of Group 11 in 2019 and that didn't go unnoticed by fans across the region.
The Tigers' star collected 37.78% of the votes while the versatile Griffiths was next best at 20.37%.
This was the tightest of all the positions voted on and CYMS' Jyie Chapman just missed out after earning 17.71% of the votes.
THE FIVE-EIGHTH: Mason Williams (Wellington Cowboys)
Another Cowboys makes the team and few could argue with this one. Williams kept the men in maroon ticking this year and those efforts saw him rewarded with 45.77% of all votes submitted.
Williams beat out Nyngan's Jai Merritt (24.14%) and CYMS' Alex Bonham (19.16%) for the number six jersey.
THE HALFBACK: Josh Merritt (Nyngan Tigers)
The most dominant winner of any position in this team.
Merritt missed the first few rounds of the 2019 season but he soon made his impact felt and played a major role in the Tigers' run to the preliminary final.
That saw him receive 66.53% of all the votes for the halfback position.
THE PROPS: Dave Dryden (Wellington Cowboys) and Jarryn Powyer (Dubbo CYMS)
Two of the very best for the two best sides of 2019.
Dryden made an immediate impact in group 11 after joining the Cowboys this season and he received 33.33% of the votes while the highly-respected CYMS captain-coach Powyer was not far behind, having collected 30.23%.
THE HOOKER: Dennis Moran (Wellington Cowboys)
Another hugely popular choice among the competition's fans.
The wily veteran collected a huge 66.10% of the votes submitted for the number nine position.
Moran was well ahead of Hayden Bolam, the Forbes captain was next best with 13.14%.
THE SECOND-ROWERS: Alex Ronayne (Dubbo CYMS) and Loma Atuau (Nyngan Tigers)
The fans agree with our experts again as Ronayne and Atuau make the grade.
The tireless Alex Ronayne, who has since signed for Macquarie, was at his hard-working best again for CYMS in 2019 and he was the most popular in this position with a commanding 41.24% of the votes.
Nyngan's Atuau, who proved a real attacking spark in the forward pack, was the next best with 31.02%.
THE LOCK: Travis Waddell (Wellington Cowboys)
This position provided the toughest choice for our experts when deciding on their team but it was pretty straightforward for supporters.
The Cowboys' former NRL player and Bob Weir medallist for 2019 was a relatively comfortable winner for lock, receiving a huge 59.44% of the votes while Group 11 Player of the Year was next at 27.2%.
