About 4.20pm on Monday, Rural Crime Prevention Team officers and detectives from Central North Police District executed a search warrant of a home on Alice Edwards Village.
During the search police located and seized an amount of cannabis leaf, a firearm, ammunition and cannabis plants.
Officers also seized two sheep from the property which were identified and returned to their owner.
The 48-year-old female occupant of the home will appear before Bourke Local Court on a date to be confirmed in respect to the drug and possess ammunition without a licence offences.
Rural Crime Prevention Team state coordinator, Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside, said the outcome of the warrant was a great collaboration between rural crime Investigators and detectives from the Central North Police District.

"This is another positive example of the Rural Crime Prevention Team working with local police who are committed in tackling rural crime, in partnership with the local rural community," he said.
"The Central North Police District are committed to preventing, responding and disrupting rural crime offenders and this response highlights their commitment."
Central North Police District Commander, Superintendent Andrew Hurst, urges anyone with information regarding to the theft of firearms to contact the Bourke Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
"The theft of firearms and unsafe storage of firearms poses a significant risk to our community," he said.
"The safe storage of firearms is an ongoing focus by police from the Central North Police District as part of the state-wide response to Operation Armour.
"Police in our district will continue to inspect firearm storage facilities and provide advice to the rural community to prevent the theft of firearms.

Investigations are continuing in respect to the firearm possession and stock theft related matters, including the conditions in which the sheep were held.
