Dubbo's Fitness Focus has an extra buzz in the atmosphere after it claimed the Gold Rhino for the city's most outstanding business on Friday night.
The Jannali Road enterprise owned by Andrew Bassett received the prestigious accolade at the 2019 Dubbo Chamber of Commerce Rhino Awards.
Applause rang out at a glitzy ceremony attended by about 400 guests.
The event, themed 'Starry Night', celebrated the city's businesses.
Chamber president Matt Wright said Fitness Focus had previously entered the Rhino Awards, and persistence had paid off.
"The Gold Rhino winner this year is a business that's absolutely demonstrated an ability to transform itself and provide a different offering than their competitors in their industry," he said.
"So they've just tried to differentiate themselves in a number of different ways, and I think that's really important for businesses to try to do, rather than the standard run-of-the-mill type product or service.
"So these guys have done that very well at Fitness Focus."
The chamber president said Fitness Focus was a great example for other businesses.
"The fitness industry is a tough one... the product for everyone in that industry is different, every customer's needs and requirements are so different," Mr Wright said.
"So really trying to match their product to what their clients' needs are, there is a lesson for that in every business.
"So it's not just a one product fits all for everybody, so there's a take-out there."
Mr Bassett, a millennial, earlier this year shared his insights into how to grow millennials as employees.
Mr Wright noted the business had also won the Silver Rhino for Employer of Choice.
"Certainly to involve a lot of young and energetic type people within that business, that reflects from the outside looking in as well," he said.
"...They are all pretty energetic and keen to be involved with their customers and clientele, so there seems to be that buy-in and that's really important,
"If you can get the staff... to believe what you believe, then it really makes that business successful, I think."
