Community members who have ideas about what's needed to close the gap in life outcomes between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians are invited to attend consultations in Dubbo, Cobar, Bourke and Condobolin.

The consultations will include discussion about work that has been done to develop a new national Closing the Gap agreement and ideas on what is needed from the government and non-government sectors to make real change.
Each consultation will focus on building understanding of the Closing the Gap reform priorities.
All consultations run from 11am-3pm with lunch provided.
Where and when each consultation is happening
- The Dubbo consultation will be held at Club Dubbo on Tuesday, October 22.
- The Condobolin consultation will be held at the Condobolin RSL on Wednesday, October 23.
- The Cobar consultation will be held at the Cobar Bowling and Gold Club on Thursday, October 24.
- The Bourke consultation will be held at the Back O' Bourke Function Centre on Friday, October 25.
Community members need to register their attendance and they are encouraged to examine a discussion booklet prior to attending.
Anyone unable to attend the consultations can still have their say through an online survey which closes on Friday, October 25 at 5pm.
