With his old trainer Robbie Williams watching on and his son Jack trading usual roles with his father as trainer and corner man, Littlefield, now 41, claimed a points decision against 35-year-old Daniel Nash.
While the result was the same as his debut fight, the method Littlefield took to get there was different, with the Orange boxer and trainer in the mid-weight division instead of the lightweight division he fought in two decades ago, when he won via a knockout.
However, the biggest change from the first fight was not simply having his wife and kids in the audience, or his eldest son Jack trading usual roles with his father by taking on being trainer and cornerman - Littlefield jokingly admitted he had far more hair during his debut fight.
Having Williams watch the fight was a nice touch, too, telling Littlefield after the bout despite the decades since his first fight it was "good to see you haven't forgotten anything".
Littlefield, who trains the amateur-turned-professional Jack, said he dusts off the gloves every six to 12 months to enter the ring, having had 17 fights across 20 years.
Two other Orange boxers fought in Dubbo, both making their debuts in the ring.
Baden Curren and Luke Patrick had their first fights and will both appear on the undercard for Battle in the Bush 5, which will be held at Towac Park on November 9.
Littlefield, who trains the pair, said it was incredibly exciting to have the pair involved and fighting on the same night as him, with the mentor's fight earlier in the night so he was able to guide his charges.
"It was really nice to be on the same card, I asked the promoter to have mine earlier so I could focus on them," he said.
Littlefield said Curran had an "excellent fight", outboxing his Dubbo opponent Matt Spitles.
"Baden boxed excellent and controlled the tempo from start to finish," Littlefield said.
"Luke Patrick also had his first exhibition bout and performed really well.
"I am very pleased for both guys to get some experience because it's perfect preparation for Battle in the Bush 5."
The duo will be fighting on the undercard as Jack Littlefield will take part in the main event at Towac Park.
Tickets for Battle in the Bush 5 are on sale at Littlefields Barbers or Sports power Orange or at the gate, adults $50 kids under 18 years $25.
Gates open at 5pm on November 9, while first fight will start at 6pm.
