They were part of a trade and cultural delegation which visited Hejin City in Shanxi Province in "deep China".
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Orana chairman John Walkom led the delegation.
Other businessmen who travelled to Hejin City were Peter Peckham of Native Secrets, Ben Olsen of R & D Glass, James Walters of Jarawa Pty Ltd, Byron Mathews of Yankuang OzStar, Robert McKenzie of Maccas Beef and Steve Edmonds of ShineWing Australia.

The visit has prompted Mr Walkom to declare "there are a lot of opportunities in Hejin".
"As a developing city keen to improve its environmental footprint, some of the opportunity for exchange includes carbon management, an area where our region has excelled," he said.
Dubbo-based Mr Walkom said the trade mission which ended this month provided an ideal platform for the innovative businessmen on the delegation to build new links and partnerships.
"Hejin is a fast-growing city which offers opportunities for Australian businesses across a variety of sectors, ranging from agriculture and manufacturing through to tourism," he said.
"The trip was used to boost trade, facilitate knowledge transfers and provide support to firms involved in the exchange."

Hejin City, expected to be home to two million people by 2025, hosted the delegation.
Delegates attended an opening and closing ceremony, a cultural forum and an economic forum and exchange.
They were given the opportunity to visit the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an as well as attend site visits to various companies operating in the province.
"Trade missions are an important part of our ongoing commitment to sell the Orana region to the world and highlight that we are very much open for business," Mr Walkom said.
"We want our friends across the globe to know that the Orana region is the ideal partner to trade with and invest in."

RDA Orana director Megan Dixon and University of New England board member James Brough were also part of the delegation.
The visit was supported by Ausfeng which seeks to promote the exchange of culture between Australia and China.
