The show, 'Humpty Show Time', will feature some of its most iconic characters including Big Ted, Little Ted, Jemima, Fergus the Frog and Humpty Dumpty.
The programme has been running on television for more than fifty years and has upheld a constant and enormous fanbase, both running as a television show, and touring around for their Live shows with Kids Promotions.
Playschool encourages preschool children to wonder, think, feel and imagine, with a range of different hosts.
Kids Promotions Operations Manager Samantha Kirby said the benefits of Playschools live shows held in rural towns such as Dubbo is the engagement audiences can feel with the hosts and characters.
"Especially now during such a difficult time as the Dubbo community faces the drought we believe it's important that we do something to help put a smile of some families faces," Sam said.
"We try and come out to rural areas twice a year, but we thought that with times being tough it probably wouldn't be the best time to come out to Dubbo to visit, but we were told that, actually, during the hardships of the drought, it may be the perfect time for us to visit."
Sam said guests will be able to interact and engage with the show hosts and characters and is encouraging guests to join in singing the nursery rhymes and dancing.
"That's why we choose to have our shows at smaller venue rooms," Sam said.
"We want everyone in the audience to be able to feel engaged and also still be able to see the stage."
This year will be Fergus the Frogs last year for a while as he goes into temporary retirement, so the show will be the last chance for Fergus lovers to say goodbye for a while.
"Next year we will be introducing a few new characters. Unfortunately, Fergus the frog is going to be having a bit of a break for a while," Sam said.
"But he will be at the Dubbo show. So it will be a bit of a farewell for Fergus."
Tickets to the first show have already sold out, so those of you wanting to see the show will need to get in quick and purchase a ticket for the noon show.
Thanks to the generosity of Kids Promotions the Daily Liberal will be giving away five free double passes.
