Beats for Pink, a breast care fundraising event initiated by Dubbo local Trevor Hannon, will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Dubbo RSL Club from 6 pm.
The annual charity event raises funds to support breast care locally.
Last years efforts of $4,000 were presented to the Wig Library on Saturday.
"A few years ago, a friend of mine contracted breast cancer. Before she went through it, I didn't understand how much dignity they lost and how horrible it was, because as you know, with chemotherapy they lose their hair, and for many women that can be daunting," Mr Hannan said.
The event will feature nine to ten musical artists from all across the state, including from Mudgee and Broken Hill. The event is open to all providing a $10 donation is made at the door.
