Jaleel Brown, now of Wellington, did plead guilty to driving a vehicle with an illicit drug present in his blood when he faced Dubbo Local Court last week.
According to a statement of agreed facts presented in court, the 22-year-old was pulled over by police on April 22 at about 4.45pm when he drove a white Holden Commodore along Darling Street.

When police conducted a random drug test a positive result was returned. A second test was conducted and it again found there was methylamphetamine in Brown's blood.
"I have not had any," he told police. "It must have been when I was in the room with other people who used ice," Brown said.
Magistrate Gary Wilson noted Brown's limited criminal history, fined him $150 and disqualified him from driving for three months.
