"We would have loved to see a crowd of 300 to 500 people show up to support the event," Mr Mukhar said.
"Instead we saw a crowd of maybe 30 to 70 people,.
"A lot of my friends and family came to support the event, which was good."
Mr Mukhart said the day was still a good day, and despite perhaps being a little disheartened, NYAB Clothing will definitely continue to run fundraisers in support of the children's ward over the years to come.

"We tried our best, and we had a good time," Mr Mukhar said.
"We put a lot of flyers out in stores, but next time we will try harder and maybe think outside of the box a bit. We've also only been in Dubbo for a year, so we still haven't made a lot of friends here in Australia just yet. Hopefully, we will see that grow too."
Mr Mukhurt said the money raised was handed directly to the children's ward at the Dubbo Base Hospital, although the total amount raised has not been calculated yet.
"Every little bit helps," he said. "We won't give up on trying to raise funds."
