Shorthorn Youth is a member-based and run program closely linked to Shorthorn Beef and designed to promote the involvement of enthusiastic young people in agriculture.

The Shorthorn Youth Club of Australia, the junior segment of Shorthorn Beef, comprises a group of individuals aged between six and 25-years-old who have a common interest in Shorthorn Cattle and the Beef industry.
On Saturday workshops were underway followed by competition exhibitions on Sunday.
The Sunday performance Class, judged by Luke Bowman, saw Kingsley vale Augusta EIS P9 Exhibited By Cooper McGovern take out the Champion title.
Reserve Champion went to Cooper's Stockman's Enia P06 Exhibited by Cooper Carter.

In third place was Ruby Canning with her exhibit Warraberry Ada P182. Fourth place was Kate Johnston with MCL Miss K64 P3, fifth went to Emily Shannon with Spy's Prim and Proper P11 and in sixth place was Lachlan Spry with Park Lane Scarlet P2.
The event wrapped up with the Shorthorn Youth Auction which held on Sunday night during dinner and dance.
