There have been some weird and wonderful stories this week but my absolute favourite is about two kids who were bored in the school holidays.

Chase Gant-Evans and Llewelyn decided they'd walk 40 kilometres to Wellington McDonalds. It started off as a joke. But now the pair are doubling the distance with a walk to Maccas in Orange.
The best part? They're turned it into a way to raise money for farmers.
They're heading off on Sunday, so if you see them around, give them a supportive beep!
It's also exciting to see the progress that has been made on the Dubbo Hospital this week. Kim Bartley was given a sneak peek inside a prototype of the Emergency Department.
And it wouldn't be spring without magpies. I'm still amazed at the amazing photo and video captured by a Dubbo woman getting swooped on her bike. If you haven't yet, give Faye Wheeler's story a read.
Happy long weekend,
