The specialised training will provide participants with strategies and resources to effectively support children and adults with intellectual disability in their sexuality and relationships.
The free courses will be available on November 12 for teachers, November 13 for parents and carers and November 14 and 15 for disability support workers.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Family Planning NSW disability education officer Mekita Vanderheyde said sexuality could be a difficult and sensitive topic for workers, parents or teachers to discuss with those they support.
