IT has been 10 years since Brad Jones Racing has celebrated a podium finish in the Bathurst 1000, but that long wait for another success has done nothing to dull the passion of its owners.

Instead it has only fuelled the hunger of brothers Brad and Kim Jones to find glory at Mount Panorama.
This year Brad Jones Racing will again field a three-car assault on the iconic 161-lap race.
They are hoping that having one of them sport a livery paying tribute to the king of the mountain - Peter Brock - can bring them good fortune.
The #8 Holden Commodore Nick Percat will share with Tim Blanchard will sport a Mobile livery - the same sponsor which adorned the 1987 winning VL Commodore of Brock.
Brad Jones also drove a car with Mobile backing at Mount Panorama in 1989 when he and Paul Radisich placed ninth in their Ford Sierra RS500. The sister car of Brock and Andy Rouse which went from pole position lasted just 81 laps.
"Bringing Mobil back to the mountain in collaboration with 7-Eleven has rekindled a lot of memories of Peter Brock and I racing together," Brad Jones said.
"He was a tough competitor, but more than that, he loved racing his car. It's the same for my brother and I, and the entire team at Brad Jones Racing."
During his driving career, Jones stood on the Bathurst podium as runner-up three times - 1994, 1997 and 2001. He also ran third on three occasions before retiring in 2009.
He placed 23rd in his final Great Race appearance, but that year did see the team's other Commodore steered by Jason Richards and Cameron McConville run second.
While they have shown promise at the Mount since then, that stands as the last time a Brad Jones Racing entry finished in the top three.
"The Bathurst 1000 is anything but predictable, this race can mentally destroy drivers and teams or help you produce the greatest moment in your life," Jones said.
"We love racing and we know it's not predictable which is one of the driving forces that keeps us pushing forward each week."
Percat famously won the Bathurst 1000 as a rookie in 2011 and has earned two more podiums since then.
He currently sits eighth in the championship and heads to the Mount on the back of a fourth placing at Pukekohe.
"It's been good. I've worked pretty hard away from the track to try and improve my performances in the car," he said.
"We'll see how we go, I think my car has proved quite strong for the team there the last two years and been in the top 10 shootout. So the goal will be land us in the top 10 at qualifying, give it a a crack in the shoot out and then get ready for the race."
The other two Brad Jones Racing entries will be steered by Tim Slade and Ash Walsh (car #14) and Macauley Jones and Dean Canto (car #21).
