A MAN has been bail refused after multiple breaches of an apprehended domestic violence order (ADVO).

On Monday, September 9, it is alleged the 36-year-old man ran from police as they attempted to arrest him for breaching an ADVO against a woman at Coonamble.
Between September 24 and September 26, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District conducted substantial inquiries to locate the man following further alleged assaults and intimidation of the woman.
About 1.45pm Thursday, September 26, police arrested the man who was located hiding in the toilet area of a home on Nebea Street at Coonamble.
It is alleged the man armed himself with a piece of glass before police deployed OC spray and arrested him.
He was taken to Coonamble Police Station where he was charged with:
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (x 5)
- Contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (x 4)
- Escape police custody
- Common assault (x 2)
- Enter enclosed lands with prescribed premises without lawful excuse
- Outstanding revocation of parole warrant.
The man was bail refused at Dubbo Local Court on Friday, September 27 and will reappear at Coonamble Local Court later this month.
