Paige Coe created BrandyRose three months ago after she noticed a gap in the newborn market.
"I just noticed there wasn't much out there for Aboriginal babies and for the mums as well so I started making chew rings and dummy chains and people were interested.
"I've made necklaces, lanyards and key rings as well and also some head wear."
Ms Coe, who moved to Dubbo from the Central Coast to be closer to family, said at first she started selling products to family and friends.
Now she's selling to strangers through her online shopfront.
"It all hand-made at home and I make to order," Ms Coe said.
"I am a teacher so I'm very crafty and hands-on."
By using her expertise in the education space, Ms Coe says some of the products she creates support babies to reach their developmental milestones.
"It's about supporting our culture and showing it through pride through our babies, but also helping with their development as well.
"I would love to see all our little Koori babies have some items from BrandyRose, [but] the design aren't just for Aboriginal people, I have a lot of non-Aboriginal people who buy my products as well."
Ms Coe now wants to grow the business.
"While I'm on maternity leave as well its been something to help myself and my family. Mums can also own a business and run their families at the same time as well," she said.
