The Sisterhood of the Travelling Hearts is the brainchild of Dubbo's Karen-Lea Delaney, Susan Bateman and Tracie Yeo.
Ms Delaney said the purpose of the event was to " bring women, especially those affected by the impact of drought, together in unity, joy and the spirit of adventure to experience a variety of activities to warm the soul and create connections".

Dundullimal Homestead will host the event from 9am to 5.30pm on October 19 and provide separate spaces for Hang Out Sister, Artistic Sister and Healing Sister.
Hang Out Sister will include free book giveaways by relationship and self-love therapist Tamra Mercieca; a pit where old bras can be donated to Emmanual Care; tasty food and drinks, and a marketplace offering a variety of goods including clothing, crystals, oils and skin care products.
Artistic Sister is where "travelling hearts can get connected"; learn about art journaling through Fuzzyart; create a vision board for life goals, and make a fabric heart for another woman to wear.
Healing Sister will offer participants the chance to unwind and be pampered through the likes of reiki, massage, readings, sound bowls, aura cleansing and bush medicine.
"On top of all of this, your entry ticket gives you access to a program of sister sessions including tai chi, belly dancing, yoga, meditation, zumba, sexual health, women's health, positivity workshop, minimising, playing a musical instrument, resilience workshop, creating limitless success workshop, empowerment through mind and body workshop and much more," Ms Delaney said.
"We have tried to create a program which offers at least one and hopefully several sessions that will resonate with where a woman might be on her life's journey, and help to connect her with like-minded sisters and leave the day revitalised and with a feeling of strength through connection."
The event organisers are grateful to Dundullimal Homestead for hosting it.
"We're super excited to be part of the Macquarie DREAM Festival line-up for this year," Ms Delaney said.
Tickets costing $40 are on sale at 123Tix.com.au.
