The first four past the post in Saturday's final advance to the statewide semi-finals at Wentworth Park next month, and from there the richest greyhound race in the world awaits.
"There's some really, really good dogs," Dubbo Greyhound President Shayne Stiff said of the Dubbo regional final.
"You wouldn't be surprised if any of the dogs won and everyone will think they're a chance of running in the top four.
"That's really what you're looking at. You run in that top four and then you're a 64:1 chance of winning $1 million and that's better odds than the 550 million:1 that there was for last night's Powerball."
The 516m regional final headlines what is set to be one of the biggest nights at Dawson Park in sometime.

The 10-race meeting will feature a number of talented dogs while there will also be plenty of entertainment away from the track with country music great Adam Harvey set to perform.
"It's great for the greyhound community, the district, and the Dubbo club and we're honoured to hold a stage of the regional heats," Stiff said.
Last week's Million Dollar Chase heats produced a few surprises but a strong field will be on show in the final.
An injury and subsequent retirement of Midnight Dare was a disappointment but the likes of Annabel Keeping, Connie's Boy and Buck's Future still make the final an attractive event.
Annabel Keeping, trained by Stiff's partner Charmaine, is the most in experienced finalist and Saturday's event will be just the sixth of her career.
But up to this point she's taken to racing like a fish to water and scored a sizzling win in last week's heats to enter the final as the fastest qualifier.
Connie's Boy will benefit from box one and shapes as a real contender after running second to Annabel Keeping last week while Midnight Joyce, a shock winner of the first heat, will go from box five.
"Any of these dogs would hold their heads high in the semi-finals," Stiff said.
The regional final is the only eye-catching event on the night with the Ladbrokes Back Yourself Final (318m) also certain to entertain.
Saturday's 10-race meeting at Dawson Park starts at 5.24pm with the regional final fifth on the card at 6.42pm.
It's a $7.50 entry at the Dubbo track.
