Shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, September 3, a man entered a pharmacy on Lords Place and approached the counter.
He spoke to the 15-year-old attendant and allegedly demanded she open the register and hand over a sum of cash.
The young girl complied, and the man left the store with the cash.
Police were called, and an investigation was commenced by officers from Central West Police District.
About 1pm on Thursday a 34-year-old man was arrested in Dubbo.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with menacing the woman who he demanded money from.
He was refused bail and will appear in Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
