Representatives of the Rural Assistance Authority and Department of Primary Industries have been touring the region to allow people to gather information about drought assistance programs, inclduing loans and subsidies.
They visited Dubbo on Thursday and next week head to Tenterfield, Guya and Glen Innes.
DPI Simone Catorall said the visits also gave farmers the opportunity to ask on the spot questions that may be relevant to their property.
"And also have a chat to us about any help they need or assistance," she added.
Rural Financial counsellor Amanda Ferrari was on hand at the Dubbo stop, when the bus toured the saleyards.

Ms Catorall said it had been a really great turn out with people not only asking questions but to find out what the DPI Drought Assistance Van is doing.
The interest from producers and also being invited back to town, just shows that there is a need for this.
"It shows that people like to be out face-to-face.... it's really great that we can speak to people, help them and answer their questions," Ms Catorall said.
She encourages people interested in finding out more information to visit the DPI website where they can learn more about the Drought Assistance Van and support available. Head to www.dpi.nsw.gov.au
