About 1.40pm Tuesday emergency services were called to Booka Road at the Marra.
On arrival NSW Ambulance, Nyngan and Brewarrina police were confronted with two patients in their 50s.
One man was critically injured and required life saving treatment from paramedics and the NSW Ambulance Toll rescue helicopter, which had the ambulance doctor and critical care paramedic on board. He was placed into an induced coma.
The other male was critical but in a stable condition and suffered from multiple injures including some suspected fractured ribs and back pain.
Both men were flown to Liverpool hospital yesterday afternoon and are currently in a critical but stable condition.

Acting NSW Ambulance western sector Inspector Ben Loiacono said both patients were in their full protective equipment.
"I know a lot of incidents we respond to quad bike riders don't wear helmets, so they were appropriately kitted out and they had their own family support four-wheel-drive following them around as well," he said.
The acting Inspector praised the collaborative work with police, and reminded residents to inform people where they're travelling, especially if travelling alone.
"It's important people make sure they know what roads they're on or make sure they advise people where they are, or when they're intending to return," he said.
"Especially if they're going out by themselves, make sure someone knows a return time frame so that we know if you're not back at a certain time we can raise an alarm."
