Electricity Safety Week aims to teach children to stay safe around electricity both inside and outside the home by discussing how electricity works, how to use it, and how to stay safe around it.
Essential Energy will supply all registered schools with a free resource kit featuring interactive activities, videos and prizes.
Dubbo students will be able to combine their creativity with knowledge and produce safety-inspired artworks to enter into the annual 'Be a Safety Star' poster competition for the chance to win donations for their P&C Association.
The competition hosts three categories - Kindergarten to Year two, Years three and four, and Years five and six.
