Mr Crowfoot said charities should apply for some of the $27.9 million available across NSW through the 2019 Community Building Partnership Program.
Local councils and not-for-profit groups can apply for the funds they need to deliver projects with social, environmental and recreational outcomes. $300,000 is available for projects in each NSW electorate, including Dubbo.

Mr Crowfoot said Macquarie Home Stay applied for funding that allowed them to achieve two separate outcomes.
"We completed the fencing around our perimeter and as part of that fencing we had two 50-metre sections of solid wall panels installed to allow community art to be displayed on it," he said.
"We are just fine-tuning the installation at the moment, and we anticipate the fencing to be in place before the end of the year.
"Macquarie Home Stay is a charity, and we don't have the reserves to cover large expenses such as we were faced with to complete our fencing. Through grant opportunities such as the Community Building Partnership Program, our site is now secure and also provides us with a platform where we can add to the vibrancy and street appeal of the area given the high profile site we occupy."
Mr Crowfoot said Macquarie Home Stay would have taken a "very" long time to complete the project without the grant funds.
"One of the great elements of this round of funding is the cap is at $300,000, so it gives lots of scope for infrastructure projects and bigger ticket items," he said.
"We are very active in the grants space; there are so many grant opportunities out there that helps support organisations large and small."
Dubbo electorate MP Dugald Saunders said local sports clubs, charities, schools and museums were just some of the groups that could benefit from the grant program.
"If your organisation or club needs extra funding for infrastructure, such as playgrounds, accessible features, equipment or refurbishment, then I'd strongly encourage you to apply.," he said.
"The Community Building Partnership program has awarded more than $300 million in funding to 13,800 community projects since it commenced in 2009."
Applications are open from Monday, September 2 and close at 5pm, Friday, September 27, 2019.
