The Bulls and the Spurs traded goals and were left tied up at 1 - 1 for much of the fixture, which looked in danger of going into extra time before Bulls FC veteran Scott Fox slotted a goal in the game's final moments to pull his side ahead and put the finishing touches on another set of silverware for the men in orange.
"The whole team was performing really well, I was very happy with our performance, the younger blokes definitely stepped up and played really well," Captain Scott Fox said.
Fox, one of the club's longest serving veterans, has appeared in all of the club's record ten straight grand final games in the last decade, one of three to do so.

"I have been there the whole time, there's three of us who've played at all ten in a row, they don't get any easier, but we're very lucky and honoured to have got to ten in a row."
...I'm looking forward to next year, I think it'll be a strong comp no matter what as long as those core teams stick around.

The club faced a tough challenge in Orana Spurs, who were coming into the grand final with a sudden burst of momentum and seemed to be peaking at the right time.
"It was tough, it was tough all game, first half we were really good and did what we wanted to, but it seemed to flip in the second half," Fox said.
"In the second half, it felt like we were chasing Spurs all around the park, the spirits were down a little, but then it came back to 1 - 1, then we got that goal and did enough to hold on."
"It was a really good effort and couldn't be more proud of them."
Fox wasn't looking too far ahead of the season's end, but was confident that the competition was in a good place going forward, and that the Bulls would continue to thrive.
"It's got progressively stronger, I don't think any of the sides are slowing down, I'm looking forward to next year, I think it'll be a strong competition..."
