Jarryn Powyer is "gutted" to miss this season's Group 11 grand final but he insists a premiership win will wipe away any disappointment.

The Dubbo CYMS captain-coach fronted the judiciary on Thursday night and was suspended for two games after his high shot on Wellington's Steve Gordon in last week's major semi-final.
Powyer was found guilty of a high tackle with moderate grading and the charge, combined with loading for a non-similar offence from last season, saw the verdict handed down.
The charge was reduced given Powyer pleaded guilty.
"I'm obviously gutted but at the end of the day there's still a job to do for CYMS," he said on Friday.
"If we get to hold that trophy up I'll still be over the moon."
Powyer stated a lack of any new evidence means an appeal is unlikely and he's opted to "take it on the chin".
"I'm not happy with the situation but I put myself in it so it was in their (judiciary) hands and I've got to accept that," he said.
The decision means CYMS will not only be without their captain for the grand final, but also one of the best props in the Western Rams region.

Powyer, after the early hit which resulted in Gordon being left unconscious and transported from the ground via ambulance, was immense in the win over the Cowboys.
He's an 80 minute player up front and while it leaves a hole, the captain-coach is backing the depth at his club to cover that.
"The boys have had the potential all year," Powyer said of his forwards.
"They haven't always had to show it with me playing 80 minutes each week, and that's nothing against them.
"Blokes have got a shot now I think they're more than capable of that. My loss is someone else's gain.
"I like to see people take chances and there's no chance bigger than this, it's a grand final."
It's also likely Alex Ronayne and Jyie Chapman will now co-captain the side in Powyer's absence.
"They've supported me all year and been unbelievable," Powyer said of the pair.
"They'll lead the boys and they've been inspirational plus they're two of my best mates."
