Both the Fire and the Heat got the job done this past weekend, with the Fire besting the Nyngan Cougars 39 - 23, while the Heat trounced the Macquarie Hornets 72 - 38.

The result will keep the Fire three points behind the Heat, but a win next weekend would put the two teams equal on the leaderboard heading into the semi-finals.
The Inspire Rebels held onto their third spot on the ladder after downing the St Comebacks 47 - 31 and are unlikely to miss out on a semi-finals berth, now sitting four points clear of the fourth placed Narromine Hawks.
The Hawks secured that position with a 55 - 37 defeat of the St Diamonds, but sit only three points clear of the Macquarie Hornets.
The Hornets will next week face off with the Rebels.
