A 19-year-old Dubbo man accused of indecently assaulting a nine-year-old boy on multiple occasions has been granted bail.
Police arrested the man on Friday afternoon and charged him with 13 offences, court documents revealed.
The bulk of the charges relate to five alleged indecent assaults carried out against the boy between July 2018 and August 2019.
The man has also been charged with several counts of intentionally sexually touching the boy.
A six-year-old girl was also allegedly sexually touched by the man.
Police denied the man bail after they arrested him.
He appeared in Dubbo Local Court on Monday and did not enter pleas.
Magistrate Gary Wilson granted the man conditional bail and the case returns to court on September 4.
In response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse the NSW Government introduced laws that came into effect on December 1 last year.
Changes included renaming the offences of indecent assault and act of indecency as sexual touching and sexual act.
