No one could keep their eyes off Joel Tongue and Cassandra Donnelly at the recent Dancesport Championships, says Kim Tongue.
The duo performed at the 2019 Tasmanian DanceSport Championships, where they received sixth place in the professional new vogue and standard finals.
The brother and sister duo have only recently become professionals.
But Ms Tongue said despite their busy lives, the DanceSport couple were more than able to hold their own against their tough competitors.

"You don't really care what the adjudicator says, you're better going with what the general public says. There was one person there who said when they're on the dance floor you can't take your eyes off them," the proud mother said.
Another person told Ms Tongue they couldn't believe that Ms Donnelly improved every single time they saw her dance, while several comparisons have been made between Mr Tongue and Fred Astaire.
Ms Donnelly currently lives in Dubbo, while Mr Tongue is in Sydney. Despite the distance between them, they manage to find time to train together.
Ms Tongue said living so far apart meant that every practice session they had to give 100 per cent.
"We are so proud of what a small country town like Dubbo can produce," she said.
The next competition for the DanceSport duo is the Luna Park Ballroom Dancing Championship in Sydney at the end of August.
Ms Tongue said Fantasy Dubbo DanceSport would be taking 21 people to the competition.
