Forbes Magpies and sudden death footy go hand-in-hand and the club added another memorable win to the catalogue on Sunday when downing the Parkes Spacemen at a gusty Pioneer Oval.
This time it was Hayden Bolam and not Jake Grace in a confident mood post-game, after his hat-trick helped the Magpies overcome an early 10-0 deficit and win the elimination semi-final 32-24.
"I think we can go all the way," Bolam said post-game.
"We'll just take it week by week and we've got to go to Nyngan next so it's a big ask but I think the boys can do it."
Bolam won't be able to bask in the hat-trick and victory for too long, as he faces a nervous week following dangerous throw during a tackle in the final minutes that saw him put on report.

The Western Rams hooker stated it was accidental and the incident was put to the back of his mind when the final whistle sounded and he joined his teammates celebrating with the hordes of fans on Magpie hill.
The win was made even sweeter given the Magpies hasn't beaten Parkes on the two previous occasions, the most recent of those a heavy 40-30 loss just a week prior in the final round.
Understandably, Parkes coach Brent Wood said he was "gutted" for his side after a first loss to the Magpies in 2019 and again rued a lack of consistency across the 80 minutes.
Wood started himself in the centres in one of the few appearances he's made this season and things were looking perfect early on when tries for Jordan Pope and Jay Slavin had the hosts up 12-0 before the Magpies had even got a touch of the ball.
But a crunching hit from Ethan Gaffney shortly after forced a Parkes error and got his side within range.
It led to back-to-back tries for Bolam, the first from close range and the second after a strong run bumping off a number of defenders, that helped get the Magpies level.
The captain then shifted play brilliantly to the right soon after and Richard Fui scored, getting the Magpies in front inside 20 minutes.
The sides swapped tries before the break and Forbes, despite having a strong wind against them in the opening stanza, went into the sheds up 22-18.
The Spacemen had a stack of possession early in the second half but the Magpies weathered the storm and then Bolam crashed over from close range for his third with 20 minutes to go and put the defending premiers in complete control.
"We just seem to click," Bolam said with a grin when talking about his side at finals time.
"That was probably our best game of the year and it had to happen."
Bolam laughed again when talking about his hat-trick, stating he has a pretty simple approach when it comes to darting out of dummyhalf.
"Pretty lucky. It doesn't happen too often," he said.
"I just look for a lazy front-rower. That's about it."
The strong wind at Pioneer Oval played a major part in the result, as Parkes' kick-offs in the second half barely went 20 metres and that allowed Forbes to keep rolling on.
Wood admitted his side didn't handle the conditions ideally but he said the biggest issue was his side again struggling with errors and discipline.
"We let the game slip when we had the wind and he boys tried their guts out in the second half but we couldn't get over," he said.
"That (consistency) has been our Achilles heel really but the beauty of this is they're all local boys and we'll regroup and have a crack again next year."
