A 36-year-old Nyngan man has been refused bail in court after he was allegedly found with two ounces of cannabis, 8.1 grams of ice and a stolen gun. Joel William Hancock was travelling between Collie and Gilgandra at about 2am on Thursday when police stopped him. Police are also alleged to have found two ounces of cannabis, 8.1 grams of the drug ice and brown powder believed to be heroin. READ ALSO: Dugald Saunders calls for Essential Energy CEO to go In Dubbo Local Court Mr Hancock pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing ammunition without holding a licence. READ ALSO: Truckie loses licence for six months after Tomingley pole crash He pleaded not guilty to possessing a stolen firearm, possessing a prohibited firearm and supplying an illegal drug. Magistrate Gary Wilson denied Mr Hancock's bail application and he will remain behind bars until his next court appearance on September 18.
In Dubbo Local Court Mr Hancock pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing ammunition without holding a licence.
