Hit93.5 is still the radio station Dubbo residents choose to listen to most but 2DU is hot on its heels, according to a survey of about 800 commercial radio listeners.

The number of listeners tuning into the market leader has got smaller, with about 20,400 now tuning in each week compared to 21,500 when a similar survey was last conducted in 2017.
All radio stations lost listeners with the triple j audience shrinking the most (2,800 listeners lost) and 2DU's the least (1,000).
In percentage terms 23.9 per cent of people surveyed said Hit was the station they listened to most, followed by 2DU (22.2), Zoo FM (17.3) and ABC Western Plains (9.9).
The percentage of people who said they listened to Hit most dropped by 1 per cent, while 2DU and Zoo FM increased their audience shares by 1.6 per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively.
Hit is most popular with younger listeners aged between 10 and 39. Older audience members aged 55 and over prefer 2DU while middle aged listeners aged 40-54 like Zoo FM most, the Xtra Insights findings reveal.
In the main breakfast program battleground Pippa Moore and Alo Baker's Hit show was the most popular but Zoo FM and 2DU's programs have both gained ground on it.
