What an educated intelligent lot they were.
Today, they are not sure.
Hence you can place in the category of health. Health? What an insult to anyone's intelligence.
There was a saying which said that it takes a whole village to raise a child. Now it takes a whole village to kill a child. Tax dollars are involved, to buy designed instruments to carry out the deed etc. Because of this we all have a stake/say in the life of the unborn and I say let the child live.

Angry with the mayor
It saddens me to see our Mayor respond to the Daily Liberal story on itinerant traders coming to Dubbo.
Whilst I understand that the Showground is a business unit and must pay its way, where is the empathy for his constituents?
The Mayors comment "Regardless of the views people have on itinerant traders, under current policy arrangements, councils ability to stop these traders operating is limited." Limited not impossible Cr. Shields, not impossible.
He then states "The reality is that while the Showground is council controlled, it is run as a business. It would be a legal minefield to start choosing who and who can not hire the facilities,"
So Cr. Shields can you chose or do you chose not to?
So when a Dubbo business cannot make its rent for a week due to a pop-up taking a large portion of their takings will the mayor and councillors and the CEO dip into their pockets to assist?
How is this different from a Dubbo resident wishing to sell their car on the road side?
Oh that's right you can't. Council can and will control this even though there is no facility for locals to sell their car at the showground.
This is very similar to the new toilets being built in our only major "Alfresco-Dining" area in the CBD. Whom did the mayor and the CEO consult as to the construction of this potential eye and nose sore? Would the council papers where the Council voted on it be made public so the councillors could face their constituents?
The public look forward to hearing your response Cr. Shields.
