The Dubbo Cup Prelude (1400m) headlines Friday's meeting while the Cup Sprint Prelude (1100m) will also be contested.
Of the eight nominations for the cup prelude, three of those are from Dubbo.
Allan Gibson has put forward cup regular Cowboys Karma while Percussion and Pyramid Prince were nominated by Garry Lunn.
Wyong-based Coonamble product Damien Lane has nominated last-start winner All But Gone, the eight-year-old veteran having saluted at Kembla Grange on July 25.
Randwick's Peter Robl is also among the nominations, with Californiafirebird likely to return from a four-month spell on Friday.
The field is likely to grow before Friday, with nominations for the cup prelude extended until Tuesday.
The Cup Sprint Prelude shapes as the race of the day after attracting 17 nominations.
Among those is Darren Hyde's Country Championships finalist Westlink, Dean Mirfin's sprint star Jetgirl, and the Clint Lundholm-trained former Highway winner Larlabrook.
Westlink ran fifth in the $500,000 final at Randwick earlier this year and has been in the paddock since then.
Final fields are released Wednesday.
