He made a goal for 2018-9 to try and train 50 winners for the season and inside the final month Nathan Turnbull achieved that mark on Wednesday night.

Watchoutnexttime ($10) completed a lengthy recovery mission for his new trainer by taking out the Stu Valentine 4 Bloodstock Ins Pace (1,730 metres) with a gutsy leading run.
The Lombo Pocket Watch seven-year-old was sent to the Turnbull stable on a part of his great track record with rehabilitating horses.
Watchoutnexttime's six months away from the track has seen him return in supreme style.
You could see how much the win meant for Turnbull.
He saluted passionately as he crossed the finish line, celebrating both his personal half century of wins and a successful comeback for his battling runner.
"We only have a small team but our horses are always there or thereabouts so we aimed to get 50 winners for the year. This one here was my 50th one," Turnbull said.
"He's owned by some really good friends of mine ... and they brought him to me with really bad feet. They said to me, since I had the pool, whether I could throw him in there.
"We've looked after him and tonight he showed what he can do when he gets it right.
"I get a lot of secondhand horses, as such, but that's the way I like it. I like working with the ones that are racing rather than the yearlings.
"I leave that to [my brother] Josh. I don't have the patience for that stuff."
Watchoutnexttime didn't get to do things in easy mode for his first run back since February.
He showed good gate speed to find the lead at the bell, having to do a little bit of early work to get around Tulhurst Writer.
Watchoutnexttime's cause was helped by favourite Procurement ($2.15) being caught out three wide for the first 500 metres of the race.
Turnbull's gelding was able to take the smallest of breathers during a 30.6 second quarter.
He turned the pace back on during the race around the back straight, throwing a challenge down to the favourite who had to put in the hard yards earlier on.
The move turned out to be a great one.
With each stride down the final 200m Watchoutnexttime was able to maintain a one length advantage of the higher-regarded contender.
Bobby Street ($4) finished strongly down the outside to pinch the runner-up finish away from the favourite.
The winning mile rate was 1:56.5.
There's strong form lines out of Watchoutnexttime's dam, Lombo La Shelly.
Watchoutnexttime was the first foal out of the Pacific Fella mare and the two horses to follow, Ascot Encounter and Double Encounter, have both racked up six figures in prizemoney.
Browns Creek trainer-driver duo Brett and Jake Davis also picked up a minor placing on Wednesday night, in the eighth.
The latter drove $8 chance Lotta Laughs to third, finishing just over five metres behind short-priced winner Attacknrhythm ($1.85).
