Students, teachers and parents have another incentive to join the race this year with the CSU Schools Challenge. The challenge rewards the schools with the most registrations with a $500 cheque, trophy and bragging rights.
There are three categories: schools with less than 250 students, schools between 251 and 450 students and schools with more than 451 students.
When any member of the family, or friends of the school, register for a race, they should choose one of the school from the list found during the registration process.

"Through events like the Dubbo Stampede we engage with our community and let people know how we can support them, whether it be through formal education, access to our facilities or ongoing learning."
Another way Charles Sturt University is promoting health and fitness is through the alumni program which allows any Charles Sturt graduate to come back and use the facilities, such as the gym and fitness centre, for no charge.
The Dubbo Stampede will be held at Taronga Western Plains Zoo on August 25.
Participants can enter the five kilometre Dingo Dash or Wallaby Wheel, 10 kilometre Cheetah Chase, 21 kilometre Zebra Zoom or 42 kilometre Rhino Ramble.
Anyone is welcoming to enter the five or 10 kilometre events but participants must be over 16-years-old to go in the half or full marathon.
More than 1500 people from all across Australia took part in the Dubbo Stampede last year.
For more information on the Dubbo Stampede, or to enter one of the races, head to the website at DubboStampede.com.au or follow Dubbo Stampede on Facebook.
Registrations close at 11am on August 23.
