Founder and President Tash Petty couldn't be happier with the effort put in, with the youthful roster again making a statement in order to hold their position on the competition ladder.
"We're extremely excited and proud of where we've been sitting this year and how the girls have been going, this is the first year for this club, so it's been pretty amazing all year," Petty said.
"We were expecting to have about six or seven teams in total, and now we've got about twenty three teams this year across all the competitions, so it's been great."
While the Rebels were still carried by their versatile core of younger players, the team's more experienced veterans have been stepping up in moments of danger too, like when the Cougars got off to a good start and forced the Rebels to react.

"It wasn't the best game to start off with for us,, but we were able to bring it home in the last half," Petty said.
"The girls were a bit shaky to begin with, a few shots were going wide of the target, so we just had to rotate out some of our shooter combinations and get Haley Burton and Kayla Edwards in there to start putting some points up for us."
"We're pretty luck that we've got players like Sharon Edmunds, who's a very experienced player with a lot of know how, even though our younger players are quite versatile, our older heads are doing very well at making those decisions when we need them made, and helping shape the team."
"Sharon is an absolute asset, she's very positive and has been a great guide and mentor throughout the season."
The Rebels have even enlisted some help from further afield with the Geurie Goats and Dubbo Westside coach Paul Hausia stepping in to lend some guidance to the side's more inexperienced players and coaches as the A grade team takes stronger shape.
"We've had some great development throughout all our teams this year and we've had Paul Hausia and Tierra Riley in our coaching staff helping out with our junior coaches, that's really helped the development of our junior players a great deal."
Riley, as formidable a force on the court as she is a keen mind off of it, has provided much of the structure and direction that's kept the Rebels within a competitive distance of the ladder leading Fusion Fire and Heat teams.
"Tierra Riley is definitely a very valued player in the team, she has a very experienced outlook, she keeps the communication going on the court as much as possible, which is a huge asset for us."
For the surging Rebels, who have now put together a respectable winning streak after last being bested by the Fusion Heat in round five, the focus remains on building combinations and nurturing their younger talent that's been making waves in the competition.
"Absolutely, we've got a younger cohort, there's no doubt about that," Petty said of her side's prospects.
"Jordi's definitely been holding it in the mid-court for the girls so far this year and Zakiah Riley's been outstanding each week, she played out on the wing for us this week and she was absolutely amazing in that role. Rachael Fairman was outstanding in defence for us, she put in an awesome effort."
"Haley Burton and Kayla Edwards both shot very well for us on the weekend as well."
